8 fresh figs
250 g dark chocolate
Figs and chocolate: a fabulous combination. Serve this dessert with frozen yogurt and fresh mango.
Wash the figs in water and make sure to keep them whole. Let the figs air dry well or carefully dry them off with paper towels. The chocolate won’t stay on the figs if they’re still wet!
Gently melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Hold the figs by the stem and dip them in the melted chocolate. Place the dipped figs on a plate and chill in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden (approximately 20 minutes).
Serve with frozen yogurt and fresh mango.
Stir a splash of liqueur into the melted chocolate.
