100 g North Sea brown shrimp
1 avocado
juice from half a lime
30 g lamb’s lettuce
1 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. ketchup
1 spring onion, finely cut
salt and pepper

Food blogger PuurSuzanne gave us a super easy recipe for a refreshing shrimp cocktail with avocado. This is a fabulous starter to complement a festive main course. It is fast and easy to make. Don’t like shrimp? Use smoked chicken instead.

    Mix the shrimp with the mayonnaise, ketchup and curry powder.

    Cut the avocados into cubes.
  • 3
    Mix the avocado with the juice from half a lime and season with a little salt and pepper.

    Divide the lettuce equally between two glasses. Then divide the avocado between both glasses, add the shrimp and garnish with spring onion.
