Sharon fruit jam


500 g Sharon fruit, peeled
500 g preserving sugar
1 tsp ground cardamom

This jam is delicious on bread, toast or with a tasty hunk of cheese.

    Puree the Sharon fruit in the food processor and gently bring to the boil with the preserving sugar and the ground cardamom.

    Simmer gently for 3 minutes.

    Pour the jam into the jars, seal with the lids and allow to cool.
