300 g Discovered physalis
Juice of 4 lemons
1 sachet vanilla sugar
500 g preserving sugar
The surprising flavour of this physalis jam is delicious on bread and crackers, but also in desserts and pastries.
Preparation

Remove the lanterns and wash the berries.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and puree. Put the mixture in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring. Allow to boil for at least 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour the hot jam into glass jars and seal with the lids while the jam is still hot.
