Lemongrass Ginger Tea
With cinnamon and star anise


1 litre of water
2 stalks of lemongrass
1 piece of fresh ginger (thumb size)
1 cinnamon stick
3 pieces star anise
A delicious fragrant tea with lemongrass and ginger. Always a refreshing drink, but even better when you have the flu or a cold!

    Cut the lemongrass stalks into large pieces. Peel the ginger and cut into pieces.

    Bring the water to a boil and add the ginger and lemongrass. Now add the cinnamon stick and star anise.

    Gently simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Pour the mixture through a strainer.

    Serve the strained drink warm, add some honey to taste.
