1 bunch of green asparagus
Dash of olive oil
Black pepper to taste
Sea salt to taste
Balsamic syrup to taste
2 tbsp. coarsely crumbled roasted hazelnuts
100 gr parmesan cheese
This delicious salad with grilled green asparagus can be used as an appetiser, but also as a side dish for your Christmas dinner.
Check whether the asparagus are clean, and cut 3 cm from the bottom of the asparagus. This piece often doesn't have a great taste or texture.
Marinate the asparagus with a little olive oil and a lot of freshly ground pepper and sea salt.
Put the grill pan on a high heat and grill the asparagus in the pan, keep a close eye on them. -Don't forget your extractor fan- For the most delicious taste you want to see the grill marks on the asparagus, and they should have become a bit softer.
Meanwhile, you can grate the parmesan cheese. When the asparagus have cooled down, place them on a nice dish. Sprinkle with fresh pepper, sea salt and the roasted hazelnuts. The dish is best served lukewarm.
