physalis salade
Fresh salad with physalis and pomegranate
physalis salade

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 passion fruits
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1 bowl of physalis
  • handful of rocket
  • 100 grams of pecans
  • 4 mini burrata or mozarella
A delicious crispy and colourful salad with creamy burrata. A surprising combination of physalis with pomegranate, passion fruit, onion and cucumber.

  • 1
Cut the cucumber into wafer-thin slices and fan them out on the plates. Finely chop the small onion and sprinkle over the cucumber. Now cut the passion fruits in half and spoon out the flesh. Spread a little olive oil, salt and pepper on the plates.
  • 2
Clean the pomegranate. Score the pomegranate into quarters, but don’t cut through all the way. Break the pomegranate into parts. Now you can easily peel out the pomegranate seeds.
  • 3
The physalis can be easily removed from the lanterns. Wash the orange berries and cut into quarters. Divide the pomegranate and physalis over the salads.
  • 4
Garnish the salads with a little rocket, chopped pecans and a mini burrata or mozzarella. Variation tip: goat’s cheese or feta cheese also tastes great
