After Workout Salad with sugar snaps and mango


100 gr mixed salad
1 chicken breast fillet
1 bag of sugar snaps
50 g bean sprouts
½ mango
½ red onion
Piece of red chili pepper

2 tsp ginger powder
1 clove of garlic
30ml soya sauce
30ml of water
1/2 tsp cornstarch

This Asian salad with chicken, mango and sugar snaps is ideal after a good workout. The salad is full of proteins, which will help your muscles recover after a workout. And this salad is simply very tasty! Are you not into sports? It is also a delicious (low-carbohydrate) lunch to take to work.

    Mix all the ingredients for the dressing and set aside. Cut the chicken into strips. Cut the mango into cubes and the red onion into rings.

    Fry the chicken breast in a little olive oil. Add the onion along with the dressing as soon as the chicken is cooked. Remove from the heat after a few minutes. Stir-fry the sugar snaps with some salt and pepper.

    Spread the lettuce onto a plate, followed by the sugar snaps, bean sprouts and mango. Cut the chicken fillet into slices and place on top. Pour the sauce over it and add some onion rings.
