6 tips for eating figs

Figs are especially delicious when fresh, but what can you actually do with them? F igs are very versatile and you can use them in all sorts of dishes. We’re going to give you 6 tips on how to eat figs.

Eat them out of your hand

Cut 2 figs into quarters and eat them just as they are, skin and all. Delicious as a snack and this way you easily get two your pieces of fruit a day!

Roast them with honey

The sugar in the figs gives them an even more intense and sweeter flavour when roasted. Serve as a snack with nuts and cheese, or as a dessert over ice cream.

Fill the figs with a soft cheese such as mascarpone or goat’s cheese, wrap them in dried ham or bacon and fry them. You need to be careful not to eat your fingers with such a good recipe.
